We stayed 2 nights at Lower Clough Fold Caravan Club site at Mytholmroyd.  It’s approx. 3-4 mile round trip walking from site to town, either by the riverside or canalside.

We visited the Packhorse Bridge area with shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs, and enjoyed a lovely (if over facing) meal at Theo’s Greek Restaurant, very friendly staff there too.  We visited several pubs and shops, including ‘Not A Full Shilling’ where Suzie ordered a necklace made with a coin from her year of birth.  Waiting for that to be sent on in the post.

It was a pretty wet weekend when we visited Hebden Bridge and we didn’t quite do everything we’d planned, including buying some clogs for Bri!  Nonetheless we had a great time and it’s a good excuse to return later in the year, hopefully in better weather.

Next stop Settle …

ONWARD!
